I grow herbs on the kitchen windowsill and love these pots I found in Spotlight that hint at what I should do with each herb - chop, cut or pinch! I have parsley, sage and thyme and sometimes chervil or basil or chives depending on the season and when I remember to water.
The garden is my passion along with the chooks who fertilise and de-bug it for me. (I have not seen a cockroach or spider in the yard for years or if I do, it is not for long. Chickens seem to view cockroaches like some women view chocolate (hmm hope that thought doesn't put me off chocolate) .
I was particularly excited to plant some Parisienne Miniature Carrots earlier this season - the seeds were sold as plants suitable for small gardens.
I think these carrots took the brief too seriously :).
The garden posts will focus on creating a fragrant and edible garden - my two favourite types!
